2003 Turbo Deck Lid w/wing on C2

Anyone try putting a 2003 Porsche Turbo X50 deck/wing on a narrow body 996? Would it be a direct bolt-on?

Is the wing activated up/down by your speed? If so the system wouldn't work. I looked into putting the turbo wing on my 03-C4S and the setup is completely different. If you're looking for a wing try the MISHA line of wings. Great product with reasonable prices. Trust me I've searched far and near for a wing.

I found someone selling their entire deck lid with the spoiler from a 03 turbo. So I wouldn't just be changing just the wing but the complete "trunk" (in our case, engine) lid.

It should fit.... You should also get a front spoiler as your putting much more down force on the back of the car and you'll need to increase the front downforce to match it.

It WILL NOT work.....not easily at least. The TT and narrow body rear decks are different...then there is the room for the spoiler actuators. The hit the airbox on a NA car, so even if you do the mods to get it to actually bolt on, it wont close unless you modify the airbox.

Yup they are right... wont work on a NB car. I bought one & learned the hard way. The rear of the Turbo must be slightly longer than a NB, as the "tail" sticks out past your bumper. You can buy mine if you want to learn too... ;o) Ya know what they say... Seeing is believing. heheh Get a nice GT2 tail or something... looks great on the car.

That turbo tail should work on a C4S though... right?
They are super nice looking tails... If I had the C4S I'd put it on in a heartbeat. I bought mine for $990... perfect red. Probably sell it soon.

Not without modifications....the actuators still will not fit in the engine bay because of the airbox. The TT airbox is shaped differently and so it fits...thats IF it fits otherwise.

There are a bunch of turbo look wings for the NB cars if you like the look. I had an Anziano's turbo look wing on my car for a long time. I believe it is the same one that Getty and Mashaw sell.
