You CANNOT get the auto leveling feature....It has sensors that they put in the chassis when they build the car. There is no feasible way to get those sensors in the chassis after the car has been built, so you will not get the auto leveling feature. Its pretty much plug and play....you have 2 ways..get just the lights and they plug in, change the fuse to a higher amp fuse and you are done...or install the electronics which tilts the beams up when you hit the high beams...for me it was not worth the extra $$ for that as I RARELY use the highbeams, and when I do, the extra light would be ok....

ebay headlights...be VERY careful when buying ebay headlights as there are ALOT of stolen headlights out thre. Somehow theives realized that lights are EASY to steal, and they sell fast for lots of money...One night a Porsche dealer and a few exotic car dealerships were hit all at once..like 30 sets of lights were stolen....

I have a 99' with Litronics installed after. The low (HID) beams are great and seem to be adjusted fine.

The high beams are actually H7 bulbs that are installed under the Litronic one. They do a decent job on high.

I just got this car and found that there were no H7 bulbs installed! Previous owner must never drove at night much.

I was always curious about that. So the high beams are just standard bulbs.

Could someone also let me know one other thing I was wondering: Do the litronics headlight units have ballasts attached to the back of them?

I did the same upgrade in my 99' C2. Listen to newport996, he knows what he's talking about. I didn't have problems with the lights pointing to low. And if they do, you can always adjust them manually. The whole unit is plug and play just like newport said. I didn't know I was suppose to change the fuses tho. Hey newport, what amp fuse am I suppose to use?

There are area in L.A where the thieves concentrate in stealing Porsche headlights. My friend's neighborhood got hit a few months ago. One car got hit twice after the owner got a new set and a body repair. He was in arm after the second time.

I got some about 2 years ago from Suncoast when they had a "special deal" on them for $1500. Best deal I ever got considering todays prices. I didn't bother with the high-beam level setup, I just replaced my old with the new. The look is much nicer.

Mine suck on high beam though, maybe, just maybe I don't have the H7's in there. I didn't even check. I will feel mighty embarrassed if it turns out that way.
