How do I pay for this fantastic web site!

This site is fantastic fount of knowledge! There is so much experience and knowledge contained within these forums I would venture to say I could find an answer to almost anything I want just by searching the forums. If I can't find it, all I need do is post a question and one of you guys can answer it quickly, politely and without sarcasm. Well…mostly without sarcasm.

I have already save hundreds of dollars by not buying something I thought I had to have or wasting money by buying the wrong thing.

I run several large subscription web sites and rely on people paying their subscriptions to maintain the site and pay staff (including me ) These sites are expensive to maintain and advertising dollars from banner ads are few and far between. I am more than willing to support this site and think you should as well.

I would like to donate $25 (to start). If you haven’t yet donated and feel like you have gotten at least that much value (the entertainment value alone makes it worthwhile) I suggest you follow my lead and pony up.

So Admin, where and how do I contribute some of the green stuff?

Great site, great people, and great attitudes. One of the best resources I've found.

Please let us know if there is a way to donate...

The sponsors pay big bucks to have their image impression on every dynamic page. You can support the sponsors to pay the site back. 6 Speed Does sell frames $10 or $15 I beleive. Ask Darren.

Hmmm... Banner Ads=Big Bucks?

This has not been my experience. Banner impressions and click throughs are a very, very small income generator. .01-.03 cents per impression or click through. Considering there are quite a few of us creating impressions and SOME click throughs, I still doubt this is much of an income genertor and probably still does not meet expenses or revenue targets.

I for one am willing to spend a few bucks to support a site that has helped me so much.

However, if nobody steps up and informs me how to contribute, then I'll suck down all the free info I can. After all, MODS are expensive.

Tal... If you want info on advertising costs (as it is not my place to disclose this information, it may be sensitive info to disclose) you need to speak with Darren. I am in the process of becoming an sponsor and it is a fixed annual cost not pennies and nickels at any stretch. So to keep the sponsors around make it worth their wild to continue renewing by using their products and services. I think the board "owners" will agree the best way to assist the board financially would be supporting their advertisers. They worked hard to put this board together which has attracted a large community in return has attracted a great selection of vendors. They have paid a fair amount of money to advertise here so make their advertising dollars pay off and support them At least this is my take on it.
