wheel offsets

front 19x8.5"45mm offset and Rear 19x10.5" 52mm offset. I was wondering if these rims will fit a narrowbody 996 C2?

Rear seems pretty low. I think you want something in the 60's.

use the wheel offset calculator at http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Factory rear offset is 67mm on a 10" rim for nb C2 cars.
You can go up to 18mm outward offset on rear, sounds like you'll be safe. I have 15mm HR spacers on all four of my factory wheels.

Let's see pics of the wheels?

Factory Front 18x8 ET50 and Rear 18x10 ET 65 wheels have been shown to be fine when 15mm spacers have been added to both the front and rear. You should be able to do the math from there to determine if that's the fit you want for the front and the rear. The fitment will also depend on your current set up. If you have a lot of negative camber you'd probably want the offset lower to push the wheel out more toward the fender. This will give the car an aggressive look.

I have 8.5" 40et and 10.5" 46et. It fits fine with no rubbing on 255/295 tires.

Is your car a narrow body or wide body?
That rim width and offset puts the wheel outward 27mm compared to a 10" rim with 67et- no way it should fit on a NB 996.

Post pics?

His car is a NB and the wheels are just about flush with his fenders.

Need to see pics- My 15mm spacers on 67et rears brings it out about flush. I can't see adding another 12mm.

He's either wrong about the offset or the rim width, or fenders have been rolled + neg camber. A 10" rim with 46et would barely fit (21mm), 10.5" should not as that adds 27mm of outward spacing.

I'd love to be wrong, let's see photos-

Yep- 11.5 will fit if the offsets are correct. it's all about the offset.

interesting- did you need to roll your fenders? if so how much did you roll them out?
