Schnell SSK and Linkage...Anyone know of the brand?

Found a pretty good deal on a Schnell SSK and Linkage combo...curious if anyone has heard of the brand or had any experience with it.

Thanks

Decent reviews on it.

There are basically 3 SSK thoughts out right now.

1. SSK aftermarket name brand (B&M, Schnell) - Most reduction in throw, can be very notchy, hard to shift when cold.
2. China knockoff - looks 95% B&M, bushings have less tolerance but not really noticable or you can shim, Price $50-$80 on ebay. Same performance for reduction and feel as above
3. Stock 997 shifter: Shorter throw then stock 996, more then aftermarket, not as notchy, I think they were less then $150

That about sums it up. For me, I went the china knockoff and am shimming the bushings or turning new ones. For $75 I figure I would try it since I was not sure if I was going to like an SSK. But I can tell you, I don't really like stock 996.

Got it - great for a month, then developed a TERRIBLE amount of side to side slop.

Finally sick of it and bought an B&M - HUGE difference.

Had a Schnell in for 1 week. It was sloppy in every direction. Returned and eplaced it with a B&M, that is the shifter the car should come with from the factory.
