thinking of putting this GT3 wing on - opinions?

I have this GT3 wing that I am testing for a manufacturer in Switzerland.
Fit and finish is pretty good and it should be priced around $900 or so.
Material is FRP.

The top wing is interchangeble with a GT2 or GT3RS wing from the same manufacturer.

I'm torn between "classic look" or "agressive look"- Here's some pics of test fitting it on my pcar today. Opinons? To wing or not to wing?

WING! I want one like that so bad.... silver base with black or CF top. Can it be lost in MA on it's way back to Switz?

p3,

I think it looks incredible and I would definitely keep it. I would say that it may be time to ante up and get some wheels. To the untrained eye the stock 5-spokes standout with your GT3-rep car.

Back to the wing, totally completes your look and if the dimensions are exact to OEM then you should gain some high-speed stability with the added downforce.

Nice!

Thank you everyone for your input- I think putting it on is the way to go, not only that but it is a heck of a lot lighter than the OEM decklid / wing. Dropping it off at the paint shop tomorrow.

Wheels- Yeah if I put the wing on wheels are must-have. I like the 5-spokes, they are a great wheel. But it just doesn't seem to look right.

Question on wiring to my GT3 wing brothers- How did you hook up the fan and light wiring on the GT3 decklid- did you transfer the harness off the OEM decklid or did you pick up a new harness?

Jake- I will post up source information after I am sure it is worth buying. Need to see how it will paint up and final fit / finish. I expect the price to be about $900 or so.
I'm alos going to have my friend Brian at www.afterhourscompositeworks.com in Long Beach insert some stainless mesh in the decklid openings.

More pics next week!

Have the paint shop strip off that primer before they spray their own.

Hey Kurt,
Does www.afterhourscompositeworks.com really do jobs after (work) hours? I'm gonna need some mesh for my front bumper and deck lid as well. Any idea how much they would charge (ballpark) for my front bumper and deck lid? Thanks.
