Have anyone seen or done a center exhaust tip outlet on a 996? I found this while browsing and it looks interesting but the two side holes needs to be covered up. What do you think?

I think you can buy a new bumper cover with just the center hole for that set up, I cant remember where i saw it but i will send the link if i find it again

 

I like the gill looking exhaust inserts on the rear cover. Unique look.

Goes the 996gt3 have a center exhaust or just the 997 GT3? If the 996GT3 has the center exhaust I assume a GT3 rear bumper would solve the two side holes.

I way prefer the original look. If you just want something different that's one thing, but it doesn't look as good IMHO.

 

I think there's a company on eBay that sells a rear bumper that has center outlets for the exhaust (carbon fiber too, cup style?). I am considering it 'cause I would love to have the Sharkwerks tips . . . you just gotta have something Sharkwerks on a Pcar to be complete

You can have it done but no cats. Mandrel bent the tube. There is a company here in So. Cal in San Gabriel Valley that sell 996 center cut out bumper with Euro style.

seriously guys... in the Choi Book: The fundamentals of modding, messing with the exhaust piping to copy the real deal factory look of a gt3 is just too much tinkering around. for all that money you spend doing this, you end up with center pipes all for pure aesthetic reasons and who knows wtf it just did to the performance of the exhaust.

anyways, i personally find the well spaced dual pipe look better than the center pipes, but it looks cool on the gt3 because well.. it's a fuqin gt3.
