techart wheel decision time, please help me out, going crazy

trying to decide if 19" silver techart + pss9 will be ok in orange county roads, or
18" techart silver + pss9

would i get a rough ride around town and freeway..
would i hate myself if i go with 19 or is 18 a safe choice?

tire sizes on 19" will be
245/35-19 Front & 285/30-19 Rear

or
18" will be
225/40-18 Front & 285/30-18 Rear

The TechArts are a one piece wheel and they are quite strong. The downside is that they are a bit heavy.

19's in OC is no problem. I've had mine for 6 months now and not a single problem.

Good luck and post pics once you get them!

is yours 19" ?

if so, do you have pss9's also? how heavy are they? would the car be dragging because of more weight added?

Looking at his sig, it looks like he has both the 19" techarts as well as the PSS9's.

Just to add my $.02 I love the Techarts but when it comes to a 19" rim none are really strong.. example my friend Justin has the same 19" Techarts on his Cab, swerved out of the way but missed a 2X4 piece of wood in the road, the tire held up but the inside of the rim cracked.. I'll post pics later

if bending may be an an issue, get the cargraphic 3 piece wheels. lips are now reinforced. there is a thin sheet of aluminum over the inside of the two outside pieces. makes the wheel very strong.
