Awesome. Is 997 really that different of a car than 996?

Random- there are noted improvements to the 997 model, particularly the cab with much needed rigidity added to the chassis. Don't know much of the details- I can only speak from driving impression that the car overall feels more solid than my 996 coupe. Not happy with the stock suspension though, too washy for my driving style and car sits too high. Can't wait to get the Bilsteins on.

Very nice car! I have to say that your color was is my favorite and was what I was looking for when I bought my black car.

However, I found another great color. I spotted a 997 C4S in Macadamia Metallic while I was working out of town recently, and everyday when I was pulling into the parking lot I couldn't take my eyes off it. Very, very sharp.

Looks tight Kurt.. I just sold my 996 cab, and was considering a 650i, but now I'm being dragged back into 997S land. The PSS9's made my cab flex and creak more than stock, but if the 997 has improved its chassis as others have noted as well, you should be fine.. besides, the agressive ride height is well worth it. Congrats

Cali!! Get a 997S brother- you know you want it! LOL (besides, you have plenty of senior years ahead to enjoy the plushy luxo-coupes) ;p ;p

I'm impressed with the 997 cab chassis- it's very stiff and responsive. Should be about perfect after I get the Bilsteins and drop finished.

Joe- Yeah I saw a sweet '08 macadamia S cab at LA Auto Gallery, it was quite stunning. I should buy that car and move back to Hawaii... LOLOLOL
