Ok me and my dad took his 996 out tonight and we where coming home threw the canyon to our house and we saw this huge bolder in the middle of the road so we dodged that and we thought we where good then *SLAM* we thought for sure that we hit the bottom of the car but when we got home we looked and we hit the left front tire and rim the rims done the tires done so im seeing if anyone has the 1996 996 turbo stock chrome rim and also what else do u think could have gotten damages it f'd up the rim pretty bad so im wondering if it could have hurt anything else please let me know asap

sorry to hear that- first off, take a deep breath and be thankful things were not much worse (no injuries etc). You really should flatbed the car in for a proper inspection to check the front suspension components. Maybe now is a good time to upgrade those rims??
Try ebay- I see single wheels there often, as well as inexpensive used rim sets. Also try Los Angeles Porsche Dismantlers. Thy are expensive though.

That really isn't that bad of damage. I doubt you did any harm to the rest of the car. It would never hurt to take off the wheel and check out the rest of the suspension and under carriage.

we took off the wheel this morning and looked at the suspension and it seems good and the more we look at the rim and tire it looks like we just got the side of the rock........ so were going to go and see if we can find a new rim. Been trying to talk him into going with different rims but he likes the stock look. Then next probably going to drop it off at our suspension place to get it looked at...ill keep u guys updated thanks for all the info.

sorry it was a long night and i was really tired it was spose to say new or stock on the answers so the yes is new and the no is stock!
