Lug bolts

Hello everybody,

I just got a set of iforged wheels for my 02 C4s, and I need lug bolts. I like the look of the titanium lug bolts but that is way out of my budget. Does anyone know where I can get a set of lug bolts that look like the titanium ones? TIA

I got a set of chrome lugs from LA Wheel and Tire for about $100.
Looked great, locking bolts included, good quality.

This guy makes black bolts and lock sets for Porsche. I have a set of his locks. I had the same problem with the OE style locks being too big for the lug hole on the wheel. His are narrow and fit great.

I have a nice set of chrome ones that I bought from Boothe Design (
www.boothedesign.com. The quality is impeccable, and they even have the swivelling washer like the originals.

Funny thing about Porsche wheels... So many of us change to an aftermarket wheel or even paint the OE. But, there is a real shortage of options for custom lug bolts. For a Jap car, you can get every color, style and flavor a lug nut.

Without Chrome plated, the titanium lug bolt is not as shining as the steel lug bolt, but it can also treated with anodising silver, like matte silver. If you think the quality is more important, titanium is better :0
This lug bolt are not difficult to produce, only the surface and the hole (socket or 12-points, etc).

yeah, I think there are even lugs with built-in LED's avail.. LOL

Seriously, this seems to be common for most things including tunable ECU software, wheel designs, exhausts, etc. Many more creative and competitively priced product options for JDM cars. shame.

Could the factory ones be "powder-coated"? Would it last and be worth it too?

i'm afraid of powder-coating my lugs since i believe powder-coating them puts a layer of plastic on top of the metal and that may throw off how things fit

don't want to risk looks for the possibility of my wheel falling off while spirited driving
