Cabrio Wing

My firsts post here..

I have a 2001 non-turbo Gemballa (fitted at the Malibu shop in 2002). lowered, 19" Techart Formula wheels, 315/25/19's, all of the Gemballa toys (bumpers, side skirts, sport exhaust, tips, shifter,etc...), except the rear wing. Any suggestions and pics would be great!

BTW - the car is Metallic Black!

For a cab, I went more subtle than if it were a coupe. Strosek:

You can get an OEM tail specifically designed for the n/b cab ... subtle, classy look. I think Masha also has a similar one.

wross, you'd have the best looking 996 cab i've seen if you lowered that thing more, added the techart side and rear pieces. it's just a bit incomplete right now.

I remember when that car was for sale here in LA. I thought about buying it; Good choice I still had a couple of the pics on my computer so that they can see other components of the gemballa kit. I'll post some thoughts as well.

The Speedart wing is nice. The Misha wing is nice; black cab below. The Gemballa wing is nice; yellow cab below. The Techart wing is nice; yellow coupe below. The Ruf one is nice; the black coupe below. The white car has Techart parts, and an ERS wing from Mashaw in Santa Ana, CA.

Thanks.. I have a lot of pics from LA.. I bought the car and then spent some time in Laguna before shipping it out east here. The car is great. I think I am stuck with the Gemballa wing. I still like it better than any others I have seen!

I hope they give you a break on the price or you have a friend with a resale license so you can get it wholesale That price tag is HUGE; I think it's like $3,800- 4,000 less paint and installation. On the plus side the whole car will be Gemballa. You might also want to check with some of the major porsche auto dismantlers like Okalhoma Foreign or ladismantler.com to try and source a used one.
