I vouch for the K&N. I know here & on renntech the water ingestion issue has been brought up. I have had mine fo nearly 30,000 miles without any problems whatsoever. Clearly, the motor is producing more power, which wouldnt show on a dyno, but the simple fact that the motor sings louder, as the RPMs go up, means moreHP.

I have the K&N and after getting it installed, I'm satisfied. The install, however, is a pain in the ***. K&N is a good value if you don't mind the erector set installation. If I had it to do over, I'd buy the EVOMS. I think whatever power you get from either is probably the same. The sound is great!

+1 on the EVOMS...
I went with the FVD to fit my GT3 decklid configuration and am not impressed. Bolts were too short, poor fitment, clamp too small, element does not fit on piping well, oil pipe doesn't fit in bracket.
Since this post, Rhonda of FVD has contacted me and is going the extra mile to make this customer happy. Thanks FVD.

No joke, the simple fact of the matter is the car is louder because the motor is getting more air at speed. If it is getting more air, it is making more power. It wont show on a chasis dyno, because you are not moving!!
