Got a red GT-R
Got a red GT-R
I was looking into trading my SC C4S for a new Turbo and it was going to be over 150K. I had been looking at the Nissan GT-R and finally test drove one. For 75k I could keep my car (which was going to be worth 40K trade at best) and have both. I drove the GT-R home 400 m from the dealer in a snow storm and it performed flawlessly. I have the Premium package plus winter package in red and am very impressed with overall performance and fit and finish. It has all the gadgets my 09 BMW 535xi Dinan has plus incredible power and handeling. I am looking forward to some good weather driving, but I just can't let go of my Porsche. In fact this car will allow me to keep it indefinatly. I am on the list for an R8 V10 but the dealer says I am 3 years away at MSRP. I will let you know how the car compares to my P-car which is much lighter with similar hp but much less torque. Will
Nissan has a new software that changes the launch control to a safer mode that is going to be stock on the 2010 model and can be flashed onto the 2009s. It will not void the warranty. I will probably do it to protect the car. Will
Yeah, really like to see some pics of this GT-R, so far I have not seen a real one yet on the streets... we demand pics, pics, pics

I took the GT-R on the road today, finally dry, and it is a beast. Much more power down low than my SC P-car. The SC makes its power at the top. The weather is supposed to be good tomorrow and I will try the picture thing. I am not too savy with the phone picture posting but will try. Will
And one more time. I plan on new wheels and tires in the summer. They are all season. This is the winter package with heated seats, different antifreeze and the all season tires with silver wheels instead of dark grey. Will
