Pss9 - body/dash squeaks

I wonder if anyone has encountered any body/dash squeaks at some point after putting Pss9's in a cabriolet. Have had the Pss9's installed in my '03 C4 Cab for about 4 months now and am developing a rather annoying squeak in the dash when I go over uneven surfaces - at an angle over a speedbump is the worst!

Don't know what would help but think I am getting too much body flex now. Maybe beefier sway bars? Don't know. Didn't seem to have the problem until the last month or so.

Don't want to put in a full roll cage set-up that I noted some members said really stiffened up their cab.

HELP!

I'm getting creaks and rattles after I installed the PS2 XL tires.
Some where in the dash is creaking. The passenger door pocket's rattling. The inner rear deck corner creaks when climbing driveways diagonally.

What's the method to fix creaks and rattles?

What settings are you running? I have had mine in for about 3 months and I was loving the fact that I have NO rattles or squeeks...I have mine on pretty soft settings...5/6 I think, or 6/7 one of the two.

This was discussed in an earlier thread (I know Newport remembers ), but the southeast Bilstein sales rep told me that the cab isn't a good application for the pss9's because of the chassis flex. He had a customer that actually flexed thier windshield out of his c2 cab. Why don't you try some strut tower bars if they are offered for the Carrera. I've never seen them for our cars before, but I know they make a big difference on a lot of the Jap import cars.

Yes DD I do remember the thread....and this was a personal opinion of this ONE rep...the western rep that I spoke with said he couldn't find one report logged in the Bilstein computer about chassis flex on a 996 Cab and he said he had heard great things about that system on a 996 Cab from many users...Now the 993 Cab had ALOT more flex then the 996 cab. So I guess you only get chassis flex on the east coast...out here in the west PSS9's won't flex our chassis....

My passenger door rattles and I have not done anything to the suspension. Very annoying. Would a dealer address this sort of thing under the warranty?

The sway bars will actuall make it worse btw. I have the gt3 bars and when set stiff it makes the car ride rough as all hell and it makes far more noise coming in and out of driveways. I routinely pick up a wheel anywayz but with the bars set 1 off firm it was rediculous. Now I have them set 1 off soft f&r much much better. Also this is in a coupe with pss9's set at 3/4 5/6 and 4/5 is just wayyyy too soft and underdamped-
The noises you're hearing from the dash is the window seal it's actually really cheap for the dealer to fix less than 100 bucks- It is extremely common on 993's and whith stiffer suspension it becomes evident and the fix cures it a BIT
