Wiring Options - Front and Rear to Cab

Hi there,

If anyone has directions with pictures of how to get wiring from the front and rear bumper area to the inner cab, please let me know.

I want a clean way to do it with the least amount of disassembly and next to no drilling if possible.

Cheers
Aaron

rear : there is a rubber grommet behind the rear seats under the carper. cut little splice and it takes you to the engine cabin.

front : remove carpet in trunk, remove plastic cover next to battery on driver side, remove plastic cover over brake oil reservoir, route your wire behind carpet thru the rubber grommets to the interior cabin.
no drilling involved. sorry no pics.
pm me if you need more info.

search for installing PSE on rentech.... there are 2 grommets (left and right side) located at the very rear deck, under the carpet....

Not sure about the front, but if you follow the cabling for the CD box in the trunk... it should get you there.

The front is easy. I just did some stereo wiring through the bonnet into the cabin...once you remove all the carpet/plastic covers in the front, you will see the grommet from the bonnet to the battery area, and then if you pull the battery out, you will find a rubber grommet that is to the left of the battery that you can run into the cabin. You can then grab the wires from within the drivers side footwell.

Front to cab is easy. Getting from under the accel pedal to the rear is the hard part. This write is really good:

I installed front LI's. Ran the wire under the rubber trim that seals the front hood to the front boot. Then there was a rubber grommet behind the battery and just in front of the driver. Then I used a rear defroster switch and one these to control the switch. Works great.
