Softronic Software Help

I just purchased the Softronic Software for my 2002 C4. I opened the box with excitement only to find a USB to OBD II cable with the Softronic label on it. There was no software or instructions, only the cable. Is this normal? Can someone help me out? Am I missing anything? I don't even know where the OBD II is on my car.

Scott (Softronics Owner) sent me the instructions less than 5 minutes after posting. Thanks!!! That the quickest response I've had. Customer Service doesn't get better than that!

The only mod I have right now is a drop-in K&N Filter. I was wondering if I should wait for my IPD Plenum and Fabspeed stuff to come in before installing the software. I guess the real test would be to go ahead and install the softronic software and see the real difference.
If I install all the other mods at the end, would the softronic software need to be updated?

No u can install the software and it will self adjust to the other mods u put in. Im curious as I only have a CAI and BMC Filter in my car and want to see how the flash would help. Let us know how u make out.

I added the Softronic software last summer, the instructions are also on their website. Scott was fabulous, and very patient, working with me.
I haven't done any dyno-type measures, but the car feels quicker and the throttle more responsive. Also seems to clean up any soft spots on the curve. The car seemed to get even stronger after I put some miles on the car.
You can add the other mods before or after, the software will pick up any changes. I added the plenum and software at the same time.

I uploaded my ECU data and am waiting for it back. I'll post the difference as soon as I flash it. I have the plenum and fabspeed intake hose on the way. Software and instructions were simple but you have to follow the directions to the tee.

Just uploaded the tuned map into the car. A little nerve racking especially when the Engine malfunciton screen beeps but quickly disappears after the map is fully uploaded.wheew.. I'll drive it to work tomorrow and post any thoughts and opinions. Besides the softronic map, everything is stock besides a drop in K&N filter.

Drove to work this morning and the car felt fantastic. Low to mid-range torque has been boosted and the power delivery was smoother and linear. Felt Great!!! Car feels so much smoother and I feel this is the way it should of came from the factory. Definitely a mod that was worth the money in my opinion.

Gonna install the IPD Plenum and Fabspeed intake hose this weekend.

Kudos to Scott from Softronics on his patience and helpful responses.
