Muffler Bypass People

Has anyone with the muffler bypass pipes thought about cutting the tips off and welding on lets say turbo style tips or 997s tips?

Should just be a matter of ordering the new turbo tips and unscrewing the old ones and screwing in the new ones. At least that's how it is on my 2003 C2.

You can't take the tips off the muffler bypass they are welded on so you would need to cut them off and weld the new ones on just curious if anyone has done it before

I believe mine are just screwed on as well but I supposed your method would work fine.

Mine are welded too.. Not sure if the Fabspeed ones are or not.

Kinda getting off subject, but, on another note, I took a chance a year or so ago and got bypass pipes on ebay, from velocitymotoring They were perfect and I think I paid $200..

I reckon if I'd gone with the $500 set my car would be much quicker and louder (joke)

here's a vid of testing them out - LOUD!

Sure did, I was really suprized with the quality - especially with all the crap out there on ebay. They really look great. I chalked that one up as a score for all the money I've wasted on other things..

Not sure why the link isnt working for ya, it's working for me here when I just tried it again. Not sure if it'll make and difference but I'll copy/paste it again a different way and see if that works:
