What did the shop have to do to connect power to the seats? (I believe all 997 seats have at least a power back)

Thanks!
I spend a few hours studying the wiring diagrams for both cars and wired the seatbelt sensor, the weight sensor for the airbag and the power back. Its not as hard as it sounds. Other than that the seats are direct bolt in.

Thanks. I am not sure what I am going to do yet. I do need to call you about some detailing on a couple cars.

Cool. If you'd like to help a fellow 6 speeder out, I'd love to know how you connected it all up (splices or did you buy factory connectors or did you pop the pins out?)

Glad to know that the weight sensor was compatible.

Unfortunately there are no factory connectors avaliable. I poped the pins out and plugged in to appropriate connectors.

Are you planning on changing out your seats?

Doug,

Wow, nice job. I wasn't a fan of alcantara, but with pictures like that, I'm warming up to it. Very nice! I see you're in SoCal too - any concern about a fix-it ticket?

As far as your console - I don't know what your budget is, but if you're saving money for engine and suspension mods and want to conserve a little on the interior and still get the CF look, I'd recommend carbon fiber wrap with a polyacrylic finish. I did it to the bolsters on my console and am very happy with it. I've heard of people wrapping the entire console with this stuff (about $1k in real CF) - maybe doing that then covering the bolsters in matching alcantar fabric? Anyway here's a couple of shots of what I did:
