FVD Steering Wheel with Paddle Shifters

Has anyone purchased and installed an FVD steering wheel with the paddle shifters to replace the tiptronic? If so, is it easy to install?

just delivered. I like the steering wheel better than the oem. The paddles feel pretty cool and so much better than the tiptronic buttons. The wheel has an adapter and some wiring needs so I'm going to bring it to a tech for installation. I'm handy but there's no sense in taking the risk for an hour of labor.

Sorry. Wasn't an FVD. It was Ken from Carlsbad with his Gemballa.

Let us all know how your F1 wheel works out for ya. I'd love to get a meatier steering wheel with better tip paddles.

I'm getting my pcar tuned at Fall-Line at the end of the month so waiting til then for the install. Will share installed pics then. The total cost of the wheel in leather is $1,500 shipped. Saw some awesome pcars there including a 750 hp 997 tt.
