There is a really cool App. called Trapster on the Iphone. It works with the navigation on the phone to warn you where cops are hiding,speed camera's,dui check points,and just about anything else you would like to be warned about to avoid being pulled over. The way it works is everyone with the App can touch on the map where they see any of those things while driving and everyone can see where they posted it.

Just thought i would share it with everyone, save everyone on getting some tickets so you can enjoy your car some more haha !

 

You can also download the traps onto a GPS. I've downloaded local traps onto my GPS.

All is does is have a little beep and the bar across the top turns red at a set distance before a known trap. It's okay, but I know where they all are locally anyway. I can see it being good for a trip.

I tried it. It's more annoying than helpful. Most of the info is bogus. Maybe someday as it gets more popular it will be useful, but right now I find it's a bunch of clowns entering in worthless info...
