My DIY CF Wrap
I already had the factory CF steering wheel, shift ****, hand brake and a couple of other pieces, but wanted a little more contrast.
I wrapped the center armrest and the center front console sides to tie it all together with the new CF weave fabric.
It turned out pretty good....
The flash makes the color look a little different, but in daylight, it looks really close and matches well.
You get 95% of the look of real CF.....for a total outlay of approx $30.00 plus some time.

I stole the idea from the BMW guys.....they are doing their entire interiors.
It is a new flexible CF weave fabric. They have had CF look fabric for years, but this is the latest generation that is heavy duty and looks really good.
I ordered it from : www.euro-dyne.com. Call and ask for Jo.

Wow - looks great! Tell us more about your DIY - after you ordered the material, what was your prep, how did you apply it, and anything else you can add. I'm planning on painting the console and a few pieces to match my exterior (Arctic Silver) but I wanted to add some CF pieces to finish off the look. What you did looks exactly what I'd like to do - so, please do tell!
Thanks,
Rudy
