Rear mail seal leak.. and a bit of humor

First, the humor. My car starting making this horrible rattle in the front right suspension a few days ago. Sounded like it was a bracket that broke loose right under the wheel well. Looked everywhere but couldn't find anything. Took it into the P-Car shop this morning and had the service advisor listen to the noise. He said it was a broken control arm bushing. He called me later in the day; it was a golf ball in the spare tire well............

While it was there they found the rear main leaking. Now, if I remember correctly in fwd cars this usually means there's oil on the clutch. Is it different in our P-cars?

Take care folks,

Geeze, I really should read these things before I post them. Sorry folks for the Title... can't figure out how to fix it.

Joe, you should keep better track of your *****...may or may not be oil on the clutch...if it wasn't slipping badly probably not...they will know when they open it up...

Thanks. At my age, I better keep a closer track of them that's for sure

Well, here's a prime example of why you want a CPO. Dealer charge $1440.00. CPO, priceless.
