Thinking about buying a 996 GT3 short shifter. Does anybody know how it compares to the B&M SSK? I know it has to be better than stock but not sure if it's worth while doing this.

Has anybody made this switch?

I went with the B&M "Trak" shifter, and added the GT3 console delete. Couldn't be happier.

I've got a B&M SSK in my garage that I haven't installed I'm thinking of selling...

 

Yeah Chao I did miss out on that no doubt.
Well I decided to go for it as it is $100 shipped and supposed to reduce travel by 20%
No big thing if it does not work out but can't believe it would not be better than my current shifter. Its not like I hate my set up now, just would like the shorter throws is all.
I'll see soon enough, If no go MCM might be hearing from me...

It's from an 04 996
It will be shipped next week and I will post my opinion of it.
Keep in mind that I have never driven any other p-car other than my own with the stock shifter.
Since this is all I have to compare it to my thoughts will be limited.
