best price for brake rotors?

I am going to replace my front rotors on my '99 996. Where is the best place to buy for cheapest price? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Try Suncoast, Vividracing, or another site sponsor. FYI: front rotors are about $300 for a pair shipped.

Assuming you are still stock (318X28), the part numbers are:
996.351.405.01 (left)
996.351.406.01 (right)

To be on the safe side, also get new caliper bolts 999.073.402.01 [$3]. Porsche recommends new ones every time you take them out. Hex 10mm and tighten to 63 ft/lbs.

Easy DIY, BTW.

These guys have very good prices (better than most dealers) and shipping rates.

Talk to Jeff Clark in the parts department. He's very helpful with part numbers .

I noticed that the Brembo replacement discs show rust on the hat portion of the brake rotors. The ones OEM Porsche ones don't.

What Brembo replacement rotors? I haven't seen any that are a direct fit for our cars...

I'm looking for rear rotors now and just asked for a quote. Here it is.

"92.22 each and in stock at this time" + shipping.

They have little to no rust when new, and are MUCH easier to paint before installed on the car. Heck, you could even paint the backside of the hats to make taking them off easier down the road, and put less rust water on the hubs after they get wet. I had new OEM ones, they rusted too. Any info on the Brembo replacements from TR?
