Just trying to figure out the value of these cars. They are rare in coupe form, so I have been finding it difficult to get a fair retail value on these cars. Also, I am trying to figure out if a car with heavy factory options brings a premium, or if base cars go for around the same price as a very heavily optioned car.
If you have purchased a C4S coupe in the last year or so and dont mind posting the specs of the car and price paid, I would GREATLY appreciate it. If you are looking to buy one, let me know what prices you have been seeing and what a fair selling price would be in your opinion. All input is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Bought mine a little over a year ago. I'm not sure how much you want to read into it as the market is very flexible. Very happy with the find and the price/quality.
2002 C4S , Meridian Metallic (rare color) with Gray interior. 32K miles. Bone stock except shorter springs and a crazy audio/video/GPS system. 6 speed manual.
2 sets of wheels (stock 18" and Kinesis 19"). All maintenance records
I paid $42K
Good luck. I have no idea what the market is like at the moment but I would bet it's still in the high 30's... for a clean C4S...
Since then I had Catalytics failure (replaced under Porsche warranty!) and RMS just a few weeks ago...

I am in the market for a C4S. I just test drove a 2002 a couple days ago. They are asking just under 40k which seems a bit high. The car has 51k miles. I saw one with really low miles sell on eBay yesterday for around 38k, but it looks like they have gone for way less in the past. Private party value appears to be in the 33k to 36k range? I want to make an offer but I honestly don't know where to start. 40k seems way to high for the one I am looking at. I'm curios to see the other replies.

I watched a low mileage, clean history one end on ebay a few weeks back for 27 thousand dollars. It was sickening as a porsche owner.
Realistically though, low 30's on up depending on the year.

thank you guys for the info. My car is a single owner 04, Porsche CPO with low 30k miles and almost every option including the aerokit - $100k+ sticker. I am sure it is worth more than the examples mentioned, but I took the info to heart and dropped the car another $2k.
