183mph in my 1999 996 C2 with 102k miles on the clock!!!

I saw an indicated 177mph in my Corvette before I started running out of runway. It was amazingly stable and the number in my HUD was still climbing.

 

The fastest I've ever driven was about 150, only 125 in the 996. I've been a passenger at 170. I'm driving to the Porsche Parade in CO over the weekend. I expect there to be some great high speed opportunities in rural KS.

i hit 150 im my 350z, it was still creeping though. and i have only been 130 in my s2000. a passenger in my friends built firehawk going 145. and thats about it to mention.

 

I have seen 167 but didn't look when I hit the rev limiter in 5th racing a nitro WRXSTi. That had to be over 170. I won, he blew his right fender out when he hit the nitrous, but kept on coming. It was flapping in the breeze. My GTR is just warming up at 150.

 

little computer on my racing kart said I was going 112 Texas World Speedway on a go-kart with 6" wheels my butt 1.5" off the ground and no seatbelt or roll cage.
