After sitting in stopped traffic southbound on the I-5 near San Clemente due to a hot pursuit and crash that attracted every CHP, Border Patrol and COP in Orange and San Diego Counties, we finally got by it in the one open lane right before Camp Pendelton. After a quick grin I realized that there would be nobody watching for the next 20 miles. Floored it and took it to 180 all the way to Oceanside. I wasn't the only one, two M-3s and an M-5 drafted until their speed limiters kicked in at 155.

 

I hit aprox 170 on I-70 EB out of St. Louis, MO. passenger took a vid. never again haha

Since I recently bought my 99 996, haven't got a chance to hit top speed yet. But with my single turbo Supra = 185 mph on the GPS device.
