Anyone ever install this bumper?

http://www.betterbodiesmotorsport.co...mpers1/gt3.htm

I have a MK1 Aero and thought the bumper update may be nice, but not interested in doing a full 997 clone thing...

Wondering about quality and fitment.

I got my whole kit from betterbodiesmotorsports.com too. Armando and Robert over there are great guys. It's probably fiberglass, so make sure your installer knows what he's doing, because it's going to make a world of difference. Here's what I got from them (installed last Feb/Mar):

- Tell us how you really feel. Although I do agree with you. IMHO - This bumper is too busy for a 99 996. There IS a 997 bumper without some of the vertical parts in the center and it looks cleaner. That would work better. I can't find a pic but I know it exists.

It doesn't scream out, "I gotta have it" but it is far from dogs&*t. The lip looks functional on the track assuming replacements are inexpensive.

Ya thought it may update my Mk1 Aero car, but now I'm just going to stick with what I've got...

Cheers
