Talking New Seats!!

I have been looking for a set of more supportive seats for the past few months, and finally found a set that fits my butt and back.

I really liked the GT3 buckets, but I just did not fit in them at all.

I ended up with a reclining seat instead of a fixed bucket as I will use them for 90% mountain blasting and only the ocassional DE or track day.

I think they turned out pretty well and I am very happy with the fit.

Terry - They look great dude. I'm going to probably go with these. I just need to sit in a set first, going tomorrow to check them out. How long was the install? How did the grey match your interior (i've got the same interior)? I take it we forgo the electric seat and heated aspect of the seats when installing these.....How much were the mounting brackets?

The shop I was talking to that was local, was not 100% confident on what mounting/sliding brackets needed. If you can let me know the itemized list of what you bought, that would be great man. Thanks again.

Chops is infamous around these parts
So I guess if he spent $5k on seats that didn't fit him that would be ok?

Typical Porsche Mentality - The only downside to owning one!

Great looking seats Brando.

These seem to be targeted toward the JDM and Muscle crowd...see their gallery...

Cool

So???
They will have pics in their gallery of the seats in a 996 very shortly

I asked around and did some research, and the consensus was the they built an excellent quality seat for a good price.....and they fit me and the car.

They are built in Utah, using a steel frame...US American steel, not some cheap knock off replica seats using cheap steel or bamboo fiberglass from Taiwan.

But thanks, it is noted that you don't approve of them.

I like them, I'm just not crazy about the logos on the headrests. Other than that they look pretty sweet!

Yeah....I agree with you there. I would love to not have the logo, but to delete it makes it special order and doubles the price. I can live with it....I just can't hang out with Fly.

Brando, nice job. The seats look great. I have been looking for a while also. I really like the Recaro Topline seats and there is also a model of the Cobra seats that I love. The prices are insane. Your's look like very similar to the Recaros. Do you mind posting the price? Thanks.
