Fair price for an '02 C2?

Thinking about a 2002 996 C2 with 25k. The option list is attached.

I have been offered the car for $30k + TTL which also comes with the 2yr/100k Porsche certification. Not mentioned in the option list is the sport exhaust. I have not seen the car in person yet but the seller claims it to be a perfect car considering the year and mileage.

Is this a fair offer? Any and all thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Depends on mileage

I recently got a lightly modded 2000 cabrio close to those numbers with very low miles and spotless condition.

The car has a really nice options list for a C2..with the CPO, low miles and excellent condition I think 30k is an okay price. Its not a bargain but if the cars right for you, go for it..

How many owners since new and is he providing all the service records, even with a warranty it may be good to have?

Single owner I believe. Not sure about the records yet.

If the car is clean and everything checks out and your excited about it may be worth the extra coin to grab it. Plus the extra warranty is awesome especially since they are notorious for the rms issues which are freakin expensive to correct.

Service records are a must. As long as it is documented go for it.

Sounds like a great price to me. Same as my car but with sport exhaust and crests in headrest. I paid $32k a year and a half ago, no warranty, and it had 37k miles on it, but it needed a new front bumper cover. Noticed PSM is not listed, but I'd be surprised if it didn't have it, with all the other options. Definitely ask, especially if you plan on driving it in the winter. Sounds perfect, otherwise.

While not a definitive source, a search of Autotrader lists 46 911s (including C2, C4, coupe & cabrio) with under 30k miles. The "asking" price ranged from $45m to $28m, with the average $38m.
My opinion is $30 is in the ballpark. With the warranty, service records and a clean CarFax, you could have the info you need to make an informed purchase.
Good Luck

I may have sold my car, I will find out today. Sent a counter offer of 31,500.00, I just bought it in April but I really want a turbo. Here's a pic, I'm not trying to sell it in this thread just showing you what I'm getting for mine.
Its an '02 Targa with 34k miles, PSM, heated seats, Fabspeed exhaust, cold air kit, lowered, 6-speed.
