I highly doubt the OEM TT bumper would fit, but I'm certain there's an aftermarket TT bumper that would fit to a NB. I would go with one of the aftermarket bumpers which in my opinion looks better. GL.. Check with NR-Auto in Van Nuys (website) for possible fitments.

You can modify a turbo bumper to fit a narrow body. I have one that has been modified and test fit waiting to be painted and re-installed. There are two different mods possible. One mod cuts the bumper in half removes some width and re-connects the two halves. The preferred method is to modify the bumper at the wheel wells maintaining a wider rear end appearance while preserving the Turbo exhaust tip location intact. There have been a few other members on the board who have performed this mod.

I'd go with getting a turbo-look bumper made for the 996 which is what I did:

I concure with Rudy. After reading that write up on the modifications you have to make to accomodate the TT rear, I was already pooped...

Wheres the best place to get good prices on 996 body kits? $1500 for a 'copy' type II bumper seems way to high.
