New key fob is approx $160-180 from dealerships via eBay. Then you need a blank key that gets cut. Then PIWIS uses the 24 digit unique code on the key fob to pair with the immobilizer once you have the IPAS codes. (key start + remote locking)
If you go through a locksmith you likely won't be able to remote lock/unlock the doors. You will get a key clone that can be used to drive the car. You can manually unlock the doors but if you don't key on the ignition fast enough the alarm will start hoking at you.
