Thumbs up FVD Short Shifter Installed!

I must admit, I don't know how I did without it...

Next week is a lower ride height with new TGR sport springs

None of us know how we did without it

What's the diff between FVD SSK and B&M or OEM SSK? Even shorter?

Collin, I'm not quite sure the exact differences. I know in theroy they all reduce the shift throw. If Evan spots this thread he'll probably elaborate. When I saw that materials used in the stock unit that was removed, I was surprised to see how cheap it was!

That's for sure. It reminds me of the parts in my toilet tank.

Dave:Glad to hear you like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

collin996tt: Our SSK is a little longer throw than the B&M and Porsche. It is less notchy than the B&M and has about the same feel as the Porsche.

ebaker:No this is a console SSK

That cheap plastic stock shifter was good enough for the GT3R race cars.

I have seen races where the shifter broke mid-race.

They are not 100% the same as our cars...similar, but not the same.
I actually have a piece off one
