Tire rubbing at 70mph bumps!!!!!!!

2004 c4s H&R Springs, Champion rg5 19" rims, ps2 tires

I upraded my rims from stock 18" to 19" and lowered my car by installing springs. When I hit a bump I hear heavy rash more from my drivers side. I took off the wheel and looked, their are no rub marks, I'm totally confussed anyone any advice.

I had the same issue

I had 19x 11 in the rear with a 67 offset, I only hit on hard driving and big bumps. I changed the rear tire to a 315/25/19 and no issues, the sidewall on the 315 is about 1/4-1/2 inch lower so no hitting, you can also use a 305/25/19 but they are harder to find. Search e-bay I got two conti sport II's brand new for 399.00 for the pair a place in PA. said they had 70 of these tires they bought when a shop closed. I have a 996 NB I am not 100% sure how the c4s differs from my car, I even rolled the fender! That was stupid! The guy who finally looked at my car said you are rubbing 1/4-1/2 down on the tire, your tires are too tall... Makes sense now

thanks for the info.
My car is the wide turbo body. Stock rims and tires are no problem after i had it lowered. The problems started when i went up in size from 18 to 19 and custom rims. Taking it into the shop tommorow to see where exactly is it rubbing and what remedy they have.
