gt2m wing intake inlets

Are there any inserts available for the inlets? don't want to put wire as I do not like the look. CF of even black plastic would be nice... What did you other guys do. This is the misha gt2m wing... See pic below to see what I mean...

Good news is the 997 gt3 oem grilles are only like $15 each at the dealer.. bad news is they are about .5" too short! I know, I bought and tried with the same wing!

I gave up after that and have the two empty holes...

Yeah, empty holes. I don't think you'd put anything there that would restrict air flow. BTW CF looks nice!

I used black hex mesh the same as is protecting my rads... Works perfectly, looks stock and understated etc etc etc...

Thanks. Mines is fiberglass reinforced plastic...straight forward prep and paint. You're not going to paint the CF correct?

It's a CF 'ram air spoiler', it forces more air into the intake and also provides more downforce. Not sure how much difference it actually makes on a Carrera. On a GT3 it produces an extra 15bhp over 100mph???? It screws on to deck lid with 2 screws then I used black silicon to seal (you can't see it).

For the mesh I used Araldite epoxy resin, very strong and works perfectly. Just take your time to avoid mess...
