Thumbs up GT3 Console Delete Done!

I know it has been done many times now. but I just finished installing the GT3 console delete and I am soooo happy with that big box gone that killed my right leg.

Man it helps with my driving comfort.

Install was a breeze and took all of 30 min.

I have been away from modern Porsche ownership for awhile, I didn't know this was a mod anyone was doing, looks cool. A simple interior is a better interior IMHO.

Thumbs up

I went on my first spirited mountain drive yesterday after doing this......and all I can say is it is one of the best things I have ever done to my car.

I never realized how much I actually hated that center console.

I right leg was thanking me all day!

You should have 2 choices.....if yours is like mine.....

Either up to the blanks in the horseshoe or back behind the ashtray.

Since I'm not using mine right now, I didn't take the time to do it. Just tucked them behind the panel.

Back from the dead...

Did you ever put the switches in their new location?

Is there enough wire to move them back behind the ashtray or do wires have to be extended?

this mod seems very popular,to me it makes it look a trucks dashboard=less sporty.
(but probably very functional for racing purposes)

Interesting you mention this.. I've always had the same first impression about it reminding me of a pickup truck dash as well..
