Congrats on the car - I'm just a few short months into my C4S and still giggle almost everyday. Looks Great.

Funny too - my car was fine till I let the dealer do a 45k service and now my oil pressure is erratic - seems like the sending unit. Sucks when service intervals seem like a disservice.

Enjoy the car!

Yeah I think im gonna really enjoy this car.

I read the CEL code and it was a p0430 (cat issue) I know the car has headers and a after-market exhaust.. wonder if the cats are high flow as well If the code comes back I will have to bung the sensor.

What type of exhaust/cats... unfortunately the bung extension usually isn't much or a permanent solution, usually works for a couple months at best. You're much better off isolating the issue, i.e. confirming the 02 sensors themselves are good, and that you DO infact have cats still in place and not by-passes - and then replacing as needed. You'll save yourself time and a headache this way. Worst case scenario if your cats are infact bad, I'd recommend using a setup that uses high quality HJS cats.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.... Your black C4S is stunning.

As soon as it warms up a bit i will get under and take a good look. Im not in a area that needs to get emissions done so not a big worry for me right now. I cleared the code and will see if it comes back in.
Next thing i have to do is get some new shoes for it. I will try the sumo's from tire rack.

Yep, clear the code and see if it comes back. No big deal... Most likely due to the mods done!

Mine was stock (02 C4S) and I had the 2 cats replaced by Porsche under Warranty a few months ago ;-)

It said drive to workshop. Hmm i checked the gauges and the oil pressure looked good and temps were 180 so I drove it home and a reduced pace. I didn't notice any missing or anything different from the just driven 500 miles. Do you need a special code reader for these cars as I have a 60 buck no frills reader that does can abd obd2. Can anyone recommend a good indy in Nashville TN . Thanks for any help ..
Durametric makes a very good ODB reader/ diagnostic tool for 911s. The enthusiast package should do the trick for most of the things you would need to do: http://www.durametric.com/default.aspx
