You don't need new wires, but you may have to change the ends/terminals or just solder them straight to the new speakers.

Sorry to say but L8braker is wrong. If you have the hi-fi option and are using the OEM amp you have two options. One is to tap into the front speaker leads from the amp to feed the crossovers, locating the crossovers in the trunk area, and run two new sets of wires for each speaker (you could use the one set of existing wires to each speaker for one of the two sets of wires required for each component speaker, but if you are running at least one new set you might as well run two sets of better quality wires), one for the tweeter and one mids. the second option is to use the existing wires to the dash, and mount the crossovers in the dash, then run wires from the crossovers to the mids and tweeters. But this is problematic as there is not lot of room in the daash area and how will you secure the crossovers.

I know becasue I have done this with a set of Focal 100KP's.

make sense...i want the crossovers originaly mount in dash but after i removed the speakers i understand would be chalenging.
for the rear speakers i ordered some 4" coaxials but i saw the original have tweeters originally.should i leave the tweeters and hooked up the coaxials with them or shut i removed them?

The OEM speakers in both the dash and the rear have mids and tweeters but don't use cossovers. They use resistors instead, thus they only have sone set of wires to each location. For mine I used the Focal 100KP's in the dash, with the crossovers in the trunk and new wires. I used Focal 100 Slim lines, which are coaxials, no crossovers, splitting of frequencies is done interanally, again I think by resistors. In the doors I used Focal 5WS sub woofers, they are not made anymore but Focal makes an equivilent 5.25" sub now, I think it is the 13KS.

With the stock amp there is a Sub output for the doors, and regular outputs for the dash and rears. I did a 6-channel amp (JL Audio 6450) after I did my speakers which allows for two channels to be mixed with the bass/sub frequencies.

You are taking the right approach to upgrading your system as the weakest link is the speakers. No matter what upgraded head unit or amp you use the sound will never be good with the OEM speakers. I did the speakers first, and the improvement was great, then added the amp and the results were outstanding. Still using the OEM head unit and CD player.

i think the head unit will help alot due to huge settings option.speaker distance, left right an equalizer.I'm just curious when the spending sickness will stop with these cars :-)

Head units do not put out enough power...im running 2 focal amps in my carputting out 75w rms to the front 4" speakers 5.25" speakers in the rear + 2x200w to the doors and 300 w to the sub on the shelf

The speakers i have are 4" focal K2 Power (dash) 5" 13ks subs in the doors, 5.25" Focal Components in the rear(use a special mounting ring) and 2-6.5" JL subs in a box in the seat shelf(rear seats down)
