EVO Billet Shifter Linkage

Howdy All,

I'm thinking of doing a short shift kit in my 99 Cab. I know many of you have done this mod. I'm curious if any of you have done the EVO Billet Shifter Linkage at the same time? If so, how did it go, is it worth it, etc...?

Waste of time, stock links are just fine. Carry an extra, 15$.

I love the feel of the shifter with the billet link. Direct, precise shifting feel, unlike the spongy feel of the stock piece. I don't have the ssk. The GT3 tranny has a 15% reduction built in when compared to the stock 996 tranny, therefore no need for the SSK

That would be a waste of time since you would need the tools to remove the rear center console and shift tower. Not a roadside job. You are better off having a link that won't fail in the first place. Thanks EVOMS!!!

Agree 100% why worry about it breaking if you don't have to...

Thanks EVOMS

The ShiftLink adds that last extra "solid" feel in the shifting experience. Well worth the money for me.

Knowing the connector will not break adds peace of mind that is also worth the price...

I put it in with the B&M SSK. Nice solid piece, great shift feel.
