I need a pic of the stock muffler
off the car, from the muffler to the tip. I've looked everywhere.
Anyone have one in their garage or a link to a decent pic?
Long story short, I lost a portion of my cargraphic exhaust from the first "flexible joint" to the tip at my last trip to Sebring.
Never turned up.
Anyway, I think I am missing more parts than I originally thought. Now I'm thinking that I am missing the tip, the small L pipe coming out of the tip, and the pipe with the joints on either end that connect to the fixed pipe with the joint on one end that comes out of the muffler.
Most of the pics I find on the web are strictly aftermarket and the new cargraphic exhaust does not look the same. Trying to figure out if I can use the stock exhaust, but that's only if it uses that pipe with joints on either end. The replacement CG one is super expensive, but I'm not even sure the stock exhaust uses the same setup so I really need a pic if somebody's got one.

ran into this recently...
stock exhaust does not use the same type connection as Cargraphic...Cargraphic has a short J and two extra pieces which connect to the tip... proprietary to their exhaust...stock and most all other aftermarket have a longer J which connects directly to the tip.
sounds like you will have to show Cargraphic the money

Thanks! The shots with the tips installed were exactly what I needed as it shows the connection all the way from the muffler to the tip.
I think I understand now what the major difference between the two designs is. The stock can exhaust port comes out from the middle of the muffler and CG can comes out from the top of the muffler. This extra distance requires additional plumbing.
I grabbed a pic of their latest design with the exhaust port piping and it's now one piece and goes all the way down to meet the tip.

I have an older design that has an additional piece that connects the small J pipe on the tip to the exhaust port (much shorter than the current design) on the muffler.
Horrible design as it adds additional clamps and points of adjustment (ie crooked tips). Oh well, I think I'm going to take it to a muffler shop and see what they come up with. If they cut the flange off the piping coming out of the muffler, weld on a straight pipe, and then weld that same flange to the bottom of the straight pipe, that should connect it to the J pipe coming out of the tip and still allow for some adjustability.
