New console painted to match car

I have some shots of the inside and my summer and winter wheels. I like the way the console came out and I upgraded the shift boot and ****. The sport designs I just sold and the chrome wheels I am not sure if I am going to keep, I think I like the deep lip but I like the OEM finish better. Any suggestions on wheels would be appreciated. I like the HRE p40 but then they would have no lip. The lip on these chrome wheels is 4" on the rear. Thanks

Love the painted console! I have yet to see one that doesn't look good. I'm kinda sad i can't do it- my car is black so the effect would be totally underwhelming. I did install a factory black rear (center) console though, in my savannah beige interior. Looks really good. Are you going to set it off your console with some other white accents?

Is that a Turbo bumper? from who? It might be the pic but it looks somewhat different of a turbo.

Thanks

It is a turbo bumper not sure who makes it but it is different, about the white I am not sure how much more white will work. The quality of the painted console is great and I like the smokers delete better than the ash tray.

I like a bit of color inside. Changing many of the interior pieces to color can be overwhelming.

The white console was scary enough to try, but it worked for me but I think thats it.

Maybe just the ignition surround or the door speaker surrounds? Or the overhead light console? Something subtle definitely.

Does the white on the center console reflect off your inner windshield on sunny days?

BTW, what front bumper is that? Really nice looking.

Console looks good,...not a fan of chrome wheels on 996...do not think P40's come in 996 C2 fitments...

No reflection

I am not a chrome fan either but the offset and lip I like, just trying to decide which rims to go with.

Too bad most of the decent ones come in FRP, that is the main deal breaker for me as I live in the city and have to deal with stupid parallel parkers from time to time.

Center console looks great, did you add a lot of layers? That stuff chips quick... I've found the more coats and as much clear as possible are a must. I've even seen a guy paint the center console to match, THEN put a layer of 3m clear bra to keep it from getting beat up!
