Silver Chrome vs. Black Chrome Wheels

Interested in opinions. I bought a set of turbo twists for my carrera 4s. I am planning on chroming them. Car is metallic silver with black interior. I'm interested in opinions of black chrome vs. silver chrome. Has anyone done the black Chrome? I like the idea of black.

Why in the world would you put a cheesy finish that is guaranteed to flake on wheels that are not already ruined? If you want black, then have the finish removed and powdercoat them for a much better look that will be more durable.

The wheels will be summer only. I thought being summer only there wouldn't be a problem with flaking. I like the reflective nature of chrome. I thought black chrome might cover some of the brake dust. I have not seen a powder coated wheel.

Dropped them off to be powder coated. Decided to refinish with basically the factory color. Not very adventurous. But I look forward to taking off my winter wheels and tires. They work great but look a little odd.
