C4s Ceramic or not

I was told today that my 2003 c4s definitely came with ceramic brakes from the factory. I thought it was an add-on option. I haven't taken the wheels of yet to tell, but I need new front pads and rotors. Is it stock ceramic or standard material? Since I am replacing it all anyway, should I go ceramic. This car will probably only see the track from the highway.

The only Porsche to come with ceramics stock are the Carrera GT and yes the calipers are yellow. Mine are red on my C4S and they are the stock OEM issue. The C2 and C4 come withy black calipers. I know that the C4S brake pads and rotor replacement are about 60% more expensive than the cost of the black caliper brake set up. Go to any OEM parts site and you will see what I mean. Also remember, some paint their calipers yellow to look like the ceramics, but the OEM Ceramic calipers are really big compared to the rest

Incorrect 996 Turbo S came with PCCB from Factory, so does the 997 GT2 and the New Turbo S... I think the new Cayanne Turbo S also comes with PCCB's from Factory

OP go with Factory Brake Pads, they are mooooooooore than enough for most applications...
