Question Window Stuck Down!!!

Hello members,

I have a friend of mine who has a 1999 C2 with a window problem. I have searched both this forum and renntech.org for any lead on the problem/fix, but did not find any similar symptoms.

His passenger side window is stuck all the way down and it does not roll up at all. When he pushes the up/down window button, there is a slight click from the motor, but nothing happens.

Could it be the window motor, even there is a slight clicking sound? Or is it the window regulator?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Seung

I would bet it is the regulator. A lot of the regulator have plastic piece that go bad over time. When and if you replace it. I would replace both.

Make sure the window didnt fall off the track. That happend to me one time all i had to do was take the door apart and put it back on the track.

My friend hasn't touched his car since my last post. We took apart the door, but it looked too complicated with the window stuck in "down" position.

Whenever he gets a chance, he'll take it to a shop. He's been just too busy

I will let you guys know the source of problem.
