wheel fitment

What is the largest tire (Hoosier R6) that I can fit into my front turbo 18x8 rim? My rears are 18x11 turbo twist with 315's - perfect fit. This is only for the track. I also will be posting pics of my 99 996 tiptronic with the new paddle shifters and quick release hub and steering wheel. Makes a tip fun to drive on the track. Also put a wide body GtRS kit and paint. Hope you guys enjoy. Just have to figure out how to post pics on this forum. Take care!!

Thanks, Those are turbo wheels with 315's in the rear. I really need 18x12 to fit 335's but ill have to do with these. They also have a 1 inch spacer in the rears and 14mm in the front.

Yeah damn you could fit 10 front and 12's rear no problem!

How much wider are the front fenders and rear overs than stock?

Not sure. I pick up this wide body kit fairly cheap so I decided to give it a shot. I can tell you the rear sticks really good! Im still working with the fronts and what I can fit. 18x12 and 18x9.5 would be ideal but very expensive. Im trying to find some used rims with that size - not easy. I really love the paddle shifter set up. First one installed in the U.S.! There is another one installed in Europe. Maybe it will be popular in the states with the tiptronic. Makes driving a tip on the track fun.

Thanks, I still have not got an answer on my original question which was what size tire can i fit on my front 18x8 turbo rim. I was told maybe a 275/35/18 hoosier. I was hoping someone on this forum has attempted this set up. Thanks for the compliments!!

very nice ride. just bought a 03 Carrera 4S tip....who did your paddle shifts? Also getting ready to buy a new set of tires...had advan AD08's on my Audi S4....worked very well...can I resize the tires on the stock rims (twists)...no spacers yet....looking for a bit more rubber width on stock rims.

Thanks! The paddle shifter are from Works Bell and the quick release hub is from the same company. Steering wheel is a Personal Fitti. It was installed by Flat Six Motorworks in Miami Fl. Had to modify it a bit in order not to have a harness when the wheel is removed. I had to delete the horn, but its not required on the track. Im not sure what tires you are running on the rear but probably 305's or 315's. I think the 315's are as wide as you can get in the rear without running into safety issues. Front ones Im still waiting on a response. Take care and have fun with your Porsche!

thanks....Currently the car has stock sizes installed...225-40-18 f and 295-30 on the rear. the front tires "look" narrow....if you go 315 in the rear, how much wider is that vs stock sizes?
Thanks for the other info. I will be in south florida a couple of times this summer.....might check them out.

I would say the rears are about 1 inch thicker and you can go to at least 255's in the front. 245's are more available however. Good luck!! Let me know if you head this way and you can check out those guys.

I'm running 225 up front on my 18s but my fenders are rolled (had to since the car is lowered as well, but doesn't seem like you'll have any issues with fitment)
