996 C4S handbrake

I thought this maybe my last and best chance to get this issue resolved. I have a 2004 C4S 996 and the button on the handbrake is missing. I went to Porsche and I will have to replace the whole handbrake and labour(over $500) for one simple button. Is there anyone out there that might have this? It's the button to release the handbrake down. Thank you

Why not just purchase it online and do it yourself? Many have done it.

I just put in CF handbrake

The job took about 3 solid hours...here's the step by step, thank me later...the below is a how to remove the center console, I'm sure you can figure it out after you've removed the center console, 4 screws hold it down, and remember to measure the back screws to know how tight to put the new lever in for the e-brakes to engage...

Can't you just order the part from the dealer then and then DIY?

I wish I could order that part from porsche but you have to order the whole new handbrake for a stupid button.

Like I thought. No one will order it alone. Anyone have one hanging around?
