If/when I get my 996, I'll keep my Infiniti I30 for a beater . But no garage = lose, so I probably won't get the 996 for a couple more years .

I buy a three year old one from somebody's grandparents every other year. Put 50K mi on it and sell if for $2k less than I paid to a Limo company or a Sapranos wannabee! Comfortable on long drives, huge back seat , can fit 4 golf bags and 2 bodies in the trunk, has autopilot when I've had a few cocktails, and best of all Never gets a second look by cops. On roadtrips my BMW buddies always want me to drive

great logic, if it wasn't such a ghey car, i'd go buy one. but again, great logic. it all makes sense.

a 4X4, supercrew (4 door) F150. the back seat (huge and leather with lots of leg room) is as comfortable as any car, the 04s and newer handle and ride just like luxury cars, and with a roll away cargo cover you can use the truck for anything except carving mountain roads at the limits like you would a sports car. and, the stereo (audiofile option) is probably better than any factory stereo i've ever had (and i usually get the upgraded version of the stock offering). the bill for oil changes and tire rotations crack me up when compared to porsche, etc. before i realized it, they tried to charge me an hour ($95) for a tire rotation at porsche once.

Ben: with all due respect, you own a CGT for crying out loud. Pay the 95 bucks an hour, and move on.

I say that nicely, sir. Yet, I say it truthfully!

lol, i didn't get the money for the CGT by stupidly spending my money. and, $95 for a 5 to 10 minute max (with lift and air tools) chore qualifies as stupid to me.

I daily with a tundra doublecab that gets a measley 15mpg overall. However it has a wide powerband and a lot of torque. Great for times when I hit the slopes.
