I had these on my first BMW - great tire when it's dry. Very "soft" IMO, nice and quiet, not sure if wear is a factor for you, but mine didn't last very long.

I had a great experience with these tires as well. They performed great in the summer and on the track. I went through a month in the rain with them, no complaints at all. They were extremely quiet and for me...they lasted a LONG time. The fronts went 35,000 miles (could have gone more, but I sold the tires and wheels) and the rears I changed at 17,000 miles. This was on a Boxster...so ymmv. I would get them again...but figured I'd try something new with the Michelins. (The Yoks come in 295 for the rear, which is nice)

I heard they are not wide enough, e.g. the 295s for the TT look overstretched...
A 315 Yoko AVS is as wide as a 315 Conti SC2

I've had them on several cars and love them. The traction is really great in wet and dry conditions but, not recommended for any snow or ice. They are strictly summer tires only. They are also a very quite tire on my C4S compared to the stock Perrilis(?) my car came with. Great tire and a decent price too. Wish Porsche would use them as a stock tire. Did I mention they look great too?

The 295s were perfect on my Gemballas...not stretched at all.

Yeah - its on a narrow body. Trying to figure out if I will need new wheels to mount the 285 35 18 and 235's - I have stock rims on the 99 C4

Thumbs up

The avs sport tires are on 8.5" front and 10" on the rear. 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 on HRE 545R. I have only had the tires for a month or so and 2,000 miles on them and they have little road noise and are sticky on the pavement and are great in the rain. I would recommend them.

they're decent tires in the dry and ok for track days...although Yoko AVS tend to run a little narrow...a 315 AVS is not the same width as a 315 Conti SC2--on an 11" the avs were stretched, the contis are perfect.

had them on my M3 in 19" . they were definitely very quiet compared to the TOYO T1-S, or Bridgestone SO3. they handled well, as far as rain, i don't think it rained at all during that year i had them! but i have heard that they don't last as long....

Mine lasted less than 20,000 miles. I drove them fairly hard though (M3).
