i have had mine for years...The BEST Decision i ever made...actually im looking for a C4s Coupe for the winter and a GT3 as a garage queen....

The biggest "problem" is the ims...sure it happens...but to what percentage...the key is to look for a car that was driven, and driven properly, and maintained even better...

im at 74K on my car ive had it since 3800miles...i do an oil change every 3k with out fail, and i dont drive it like im driving miss daisy,

I have replaced the coolant tank, plugs, thermostat, some coolant hoses, clutch, and just did a waterpump...thats it except for all the mods i keep doing,

just my 2cents...

x2 If you're getting more than 15mpg, then you're doing something wrong.

26 and 6 turn out to be around 15 combined mpg, right?

My 996 C4 was a daily driver for 3.5 years, racking up 45k miles in that time. Both my RMS and IMS went in that time. Yeah, I agree driving them more makes them healthier, but it's no guarantee.
